UPSC  declared the Final result of Civil service IAS and IPS exam 2014.A total number of 1236 candidates have been recommended for appointments in various services.Here is the link to PDF.

      • Sadly enough, I know someone who couldn’t clear it this time too.

        It was his 3rd attempt, reached the interview stage for the second time this year and yet, couldn’t clear the final hurdle…

        Life is hard, real hard, incredibly hard 🙂

        I look at him and wonder sometimes, if I would ever be able to crack this, given the fact that I have to prepare for the exam while fulfilling my IT job commitments 🙂

        Of all the blogs and websites, I just love your blog the most, for it’s immensely raw and simple 🙂

        • I wrote mains this time, My friend his 3rd mains 1st interview made it to the final list, in UPSC groups/Friends play a huge role, if they clear it motivates us like any thing and if they fail it creates lot of fear. Yes Life deserves more respect than we actually give it 🙂

          You will never know till we write it with proper preparation, I read that this year a guy working in LBSNAA mess Ravi Kumar, made it to IAS with 184 rank, it’s purely awesome,stories like these motivates.

          That is a huge compliment, thank you so much, as Davnichi said simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, I aim for that, in all aspects of life, its a journey. UPSC is a mind game, stay strong . All the best 🙂
